Officially on summer break!

How far along? 29 Weeks
Total weight gain: Not sure anymore, but I will find out at the end of next week.
Maternity clothes? Mostly maternity clothes, but my lounge wear is still my regular soccer shorts, yoga pants, and tank tops.
Stretch marks? Nope
Sleep: Sleeping pretty well lately.
Best moment this week: Taking our maternity pictures, it was so much fun!!
Miss Anything? I miss playing softball (summer co-ed season is in full swing), I miss laying on my back, and I miss doing regular things without getting out of breath so easily.  The other day I was slicing cheese for Ross’s sandwich and he asked if I needed any help, said I was breathing pretty heavy.  :)
Movement: She’s been moving so much!   She has also started to hang out higher up in my belly lately.
Food cravings: Still sushi, peanut butter, and a massive ice cream craving hit earlier this week.
Anything making you queasy or sick: Nope
Gender: Girl
Labor Signs: Nope
Symptoms: Heartburn, still a little bit of pain in the right lower back, and most recently pain in my ribs.
Belly Button in or out? Barely in, I wouldn’t be surprised if it pops by the end of next week.
Wedding rings on or off? On
Happy or Moody most of the time: Happy all the time!
Looking forward to: My mother-in-law coming into town, our doctor’s appointment next Friday, and working on nursery decor.

Oh my goodness, I can see the light at the end of the tunnel just barely!!!

How far along? 28 Weeks
Total weight gain: 21 lbs+
Maternity clothes? you bet

Stretch marks? nope
Sleep: sleep is finally getting better!
Best moment this week: My surprise baby shower that the mom's in my class threw for me on Monday!  It was awesome and even the kids were in on the secret.

Miss Anything? fish and chips
Movement: all the time, especially at night. We felt the strongest kicks/punches/jabs ever last night right before bed for about 20-30 minutes.
Food cravings: yes; Mexican food, Chinese, food, sushi (still), peanut butter, strawberry shortcake (like the one Jan makes), and Ice cream (gave in to that one a few times this week).
Anything making you queasy or sick: nope
Gender: Girl
Labor Signs: No

Symptoms: Getting heartburn more frequently and at weird times. Feeling more lower back pain that is mostly on the right side.  I wonder why since baby girl always makes my belly so lopsided to the right... hmm?
Belly Button in or out? In still, but I only give it a few more weeks.  It looks so goofy!
Wedding rings on or off? on
Happy or Moody most of the time: Pretty stinkin' happy all the time!
Looking forward to: The nursery!!! Our glider came in this week and I can't wait to make room in the front room for it!!!

This week has been so hectic with the end of the school year and all the cleaning that has to get done at school.  I will try and photograph some of baby girl's new things we got at the shower and post on here this weekend.  She has some pretty cute outfits now.  Ross was so excited!

Well I hope everyone is having a fantastic Friday!!!

First day of 3rd Trimester!!! 13 weeks to go!

How far along? 27 Weeks
Total weight gain: 21 lbs
Maternity clothes? Absolutely loving my maternity maxi dresses!!  I feel so summery, fun, and cute as I continue to grow!

Stretch marks? Not yet, still keeping my cocoa butter regimen .
Sleep: The change in weather is wreaking havoc on my allergies again, so this week has been a little rough due to congestion.
Best moment this week: Celebrating Mother's Day with almost all of my family!!! Listening to Ross read "MOO, BAA, LA, LA, LA" to baby girl the other night!!!  Seeing "3rd Trimester" on my pregnancy tracker app, she is almost here!

Miss Anything? Still wanting some sushi!!! Not too much longer.
Movement: All the time.  She is so big now that when she stretches you can see and feel her on both sides!
Food cravings: Mac 'n' cheese, but the Annie's brand, sushi, and apples and peanut butter.
Anything making you queasy or sick: Nope!!!
Gender: Girl
Labor Signs: No

Symptoms: Not too much, a little bit of splotchy skin and a few instances of what I think was heartburn.  I really have to make sure I don't scarf my food or I pay big time.
Belly Button in or out? In; it is SO shallow!!! I would say less than a 1/4 in deep now.  It looks so goofy!
Wedding rings on or off? On
Happy or Moody most of the time: HAPPY all the time!! But I am sure this next week I will be a sappy mess, as it's the last week of work and I must say goodbye to all my kiddos.  I am hoping the hormones stay in check, but the water works might break through.
Looking forward to: Ross's birthday next week, and not looking forward to my glucose test next week.  Also, I am shopping for scrapbooking paper for baby girl's name wall hanging that I will be making once work is done.  I bought almost all the letters today (JoAnn's will get a new shipment on Thursday so hopefully I can get the ones I still need).  I am going to have to be very careful when taking pictures of that project so I don't give away too much information on her name... :)  I am thinking that I will post a DIY post on that project after she is here for those of you who are curious how I will do it.

Less than 100 days!!!

Hello Everyone!!!

The time is really starting to fly by!  I can't believe baby girl will be here in 98 days; almost 3 months!
I though it was a good time to give a little bit of a recap as we near the home stretch.

I have to say, this pregnancy has been fairly easy for me.  I was blessed with very little morning sickness, nothing more than mild nausea for the first 10 weeks and then it just disappeared. I never felt "extremely tired" in the first trimester, that came in the beginning of the second.  I swear I could have taken a 2hr nap every day like our kids at school do.  Right around week 18 I finally got the 'boost' of energy that comes with the second trimester.  I haven't had that many hormonal episodes, but watching love stories or sad movies definitely gives me a good cry.

I am starting to know what everyone is talking about when they mention the "uncomfortable phase" that comes with the third trimester.  I tried to reach for a bottle under the seat in the car today and felt like I was squishing her.  I have noticed at work when I try to pick things off the floor it is way more awkward.  The kids are awesome because I just tell them that the baby makes it hard for me and I could use some help and they help me out.  I am learning to better my posture too because when I slouch when I sit i feel like my lungs are being squished.  Stretching my diaphragm feels wonderful these days!

I haven't officially begun nesting yet, but I can feel the itch growing inside me.  From my need to always straighten the clutter around the house to being more consistent in my house chores to keep things clean.  I am counting down the days until we can set up her crib!  Well thanks for stopping by the blog, and I hope you all enjoy this weeks update.

How far along? 26 Weeks
Total weight gain: 17 lbs+
Maternity clothes? Maternity pants every day and tops almost everyday.  My workout shirts don't fit my belly anymore so I have been using Ross' shirts. :)

Stretch marks? not yet
Sleep: Side sleeping is getting redundant but my boy pillow helps so much!
Best moment this week: Talking about the menu for the baby shower, I am so excited for the delicious food we will be having!

Miss Anything? I actually have started to miss working out.  I love to walk, but I will be cheering my co-workers on in their 10k this Saturday and wish I could be running it with them.
Movement: All the time!!  I am convinced she moves every time she hears Ross' voice when I get home from work. Today, she hadn't moved all day and when I got home right around lunch time Ross said hi and then she popped out of the right side.  It's SO awesome!
Food cravings: Mac 'n' cheese!  I didn't think it was a craving until we were at the store and I couldn't pass up my Annie's 'n' cheddar.  :) Ross of course stuck with the BLUE BOX!
Anything making you queasy or sick: Nope thank goodness, I just don't like the taste of cantaloupe.
Gender: Girl
Labor Signs: No

Symptoms: Lower back pain, but only on the right side.
Belly Button in or out? In, but getting very shallow.
Wedding rings on or off? On. :)
Happy or Moody most of the time: HAPPY HAPPY HAPPY!
Looking forward to: Doctor's appointment on Friday, Mermaid Run 10K on Saturday, trial run of baby shower food this weekend, 9 more days of work, etc.  So many things to look forward to in the next few weeks!

25 Weeks

How far along? 25 Weeks
Total weight gain: 17 lbs+
Maternity clothes? Yes, and looking for some cute shorts to wear in this hot weather.

Stretch marks? Not yet
Sleep: Pretty good considering how stuffy my nose is from allergies still.
Best moment this week: Hearing all the different baby names the kids at school are coming up with for baby girl.  So far, Rose, Isabella, and Cherry are the popular ones.

Miss Anything? Cantaloupe! Only because I recently discovered I no longer can stand the taste of it :(
Movement: All the time.  She is even becoming more active during the day at school and the kids are feeling her move!
Food cravings: Not much this week, although chicken salad has been my dinner of choice especially since it's been so hot.
Anything making you queasy or sick:
Gender: Girl
Labor Signs: No

Symptoms: Lower back pain.  Swelling feet in the hot weather (not sure if it's because of the pregnancy though).
Belly Button in or out? Still in, but there's only about 1/2 an inch deep now.
Wedding rings on or off? On.
Happy or Moody most of the time: Happy, Happy, Happy!!! Feeling so blessed!
Looking forward to: Celebrating Mother's Day with my momma and sisters, oh and also for myself :).   I am also looking forward to the end of the school year, only 13 more school days left!!! I can't wait to start getting baby girl's room together.
